About us

We're here because the usual simply wasn't good enough.

Good support isn't a checklist — it's a relationship. We build ours slowly, carefully, and for the long haul.

National Community Support Group was founded by families and clinicians who'd watched too many participants fall through the gaps. We set out to build a provider that treats every person as an individual — with a coordinator who knows them, a team that stays, and a plan that flexes as life does.

Today we support participants in metropolitan and regional Australia, as an initiative of the UMA group of health and community services. Our work is independent, accredited, and rigorously accountable — but it starts and ends with people.

Why we exist, how we show up.

NCSG was built to do disability support differently — close to community, accountable to families, and shaped around the whole person.

Our purpose

To make sure no participant or family in Australia has to navigate disability supports alone.

Mission

Deliver personalised, dignified supports — from daily living to specialist clinical care — across metropolitan and regional Australia.

Vision

A community where every person living with disability has the supports, relationships and opportunities to live the life they choose.

Our values
01

Person-first

Every plan starts with the individual — their goals, preferences, and pace.

02

Belonging

Support is not a service. It is a relationship rooted in community.

03

Accountability

We measure success by participant outcomes, not contracted hours.

04

Walk together

Coordinators stay. Workers stay. Families know who to call.

Getting started is refreshingly simple.

From first call to ongoing support, here's what partnering with NCSG looks like.

Get in touch

Call or message us. A dedicated coordinator listens first, then explains your options — no obligations.

Meet & plan

We meet in your home or online, map out your goals and build a support plan that fits your NDIS funding.

Match your team

We hand-pick support workers aligned with your values, needs and interests — you always have the final say.

Support begins

Services start within days. Your coordinator checks in often and adjusts your plan as life changes.

Right now we're focused on

Specialist programs currently accepting new participants. Limited spots — reach out early.

Program · SIL

Supported Independent Living — new homes now open in Western Sydney & Geelong.

Program · Therapy

In-home allied health: OT, speech & psychology within two weeks.

Meet our team.

Clinicians, coordinators and community leaders — many with lived experience of disability — guiding every participant's journey.

They listened. Really listened. For the first time in years my son has carers who show up, on time, every time — and treat him like a whole person.

Moving into supported living felt huge. The team made it feel like home from day one. I've got my own routines, my own friends, my own life.

Our coordinator understood the plan backwards. She found supports I didn't even know we had funding for. Life-changing doesn't cover it.

The community program got my daughter out of her room and into the art studio. She's made three new friends and she hasn't stopped smiling.

I've worked alongside a lot of providers over fifteen years. NCSG is the one I refer my own clients to. End of story.

Community & impact

More than supports — a community that shows up.

Every month we host free community events across the country: sensory-friendly movie nights, family carer meetups, art shows featuring participant work, and plan-review clinics open to anyone.

Because the NDIS was never meant to be navigated alone.

What's coming up, come along.

Answers, plainly.

Can't find what you're looking for? Our team answers the phone seven days a week.

Most of our supports are delivered through NDIS plans, but we also work with self-funded and privately paying clients. If you're unsure about your eligibility, we'll help you understand your options and connect you with the right pathway.
In most cases we can have supports up and running within 7–14 days of our first conversation. Urgent situations are prioritised and we'll always be upfront about timelines.
Yes. We match you with workers based on your goals, interests and cultural background, and you have the final say. If a match isn't working, we change it — no awkward conversations required.
We operate across major metropolitan regions and many regional communities nationwide. Reach out with your postcode and we'll confirm service availability in your area.
Plans change — that's normal. Your coordinator reviews your supports regularly and adjusts them as your goals, health and NDIS funding evolve.

Wherever you are, we're nearby.

We operate from five regional hubs across Australia and cover major metro and many regional communities in between.
