Home Modifications

Most homes aren't built for the people who live with disability. Our qualified tradespeople deliver customised accessibility improvements that reduce injury risk and protect independence — ramps replacing stairs, widened doorways, bathroom rails and roll-in layouts, lowered kitchen benches, and smart-home electrics for lights, blinds and outlets.

Home Modifications

Most homes aren't built for the people who live with disability. Our qualified tradespeople deliver customised accessibility improvements that reduce injury risk and protect long-term independence.

Modifications we coordinate

  • Ramp access — converting front, side or rear stairs into wheelchair-friendly ramps
  • Widened doorways — for wheelchairs, walkers and easier room-to-room access
  • Bathroom modifications — grab rails, roll-in showers, adjusted sink heights, wheelchair-accessible layouts
  • Kitchen modifications — bench and shelf heights adjusted for safe, independent appliance access
  • Electrical and smart-home — repositioned switches and outlets, voice or remote control of lights, blinds and appliances

We work with NDIS-registered occupational therapists and licensed builders. Every modification starts with an OT assessment so the design fits the participant, not the other way around.
